Weather Policy

The ride will be cancelled if it is raining one hour before the ride and the forecast is for continued rain.
The KCC also requires cancellation under thunder and lightning conditions. On hot, humid or excessively windy days the decision to cancel or significantly shorten the ride will be made at the start of the ride

Please park at the back or south side of the parking lot

Around Balsam and Cameron Lakes. Route can be shortened to suit those attending

Bring your lunch. We will eat after ride. Bring a bathing suit and towel if you want to go for a post ride swim.

Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at Annabelle’s following the ride.

A short ride due to road conditions. Following the ride drive to the Union Church to park and walk to Annabelle’s to enjoy your picnic lunch

Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy after the ride at Art and Lola’s home on Balsam Lake – enjoy a swim perhaps!

Mostly hard surfaces with some gravel.
