A new cycling season is at hand, and now is the time to renew your membership or sign up as a new member.

Join us in our cycling adventures and take advantage of all the benefits the Kawartha Cycling Club offers:

  • experienced and enthusiastic riding companions
  • weekly group rides at relaxed touring, sportif (sporting), and competitive levels
  • a time trial or once a week
  • insurance coverage while you participate in scheduled club riding events
  • discounts on purchases at cycling retailers
  • club cycling communication via e-mail, Facebook and twitter
  • KCC custom riding apparel
  • Ontario Cycling Association (OCA) membership qualifying you to enter OCA competition events
  • the fitness and sense of well-being that comes from cycling itself

To comply with the requirements of our Ontario Cycling Association (OCA) insurance policy, you will not be able to participate in Club events until you’ve become a KCC member. Third party liability insurance is provided by the OCA to all KCC members. All participants in club activities must be Club members (exception try-a-ride participants) and all must abide by KCC rules. Insurance is in effect during club activities only – scheduled rides, time trials, etc. – NOT on the way to and from a club ride activity.

2019 Membership Fee (per person):

  • Under 19 years of age: $50 ($44 OCA fee and $6 for the Club)
  • 19 years of age and older: $69 ($44 OCA fee and $25 for the Club)

CCN accepts VISA or Mastercard.

Initially CCN will connect you to the OCA site to either purchase or confirm that you have paid the OCA fee ($44). Following this step you will be returned to the KCC section to complete the disclaimers and pay the Club fee ($25 for Adult and $6 for Youth under 19). All transaction fees will be paid by the Club and the OCA.

Note: You will only use your credit card once in this process at the end for a total of $60.00 plus any Kit items.

Spokes for Folks will be happy to assist you with registration if required. They will also pay on your behalf for a small transaction fee (you pay them at the shop).

Note: For under 19 members please follow the instructions during the registration process. You will be asked to download a waiver form to be signed by a parent or guardian and e-mailed to the OCA.

Our Privacy Policy

The Kawartha Cycling Club will NEVER sell, rent, trade or give your name or address to any other company for any reason.

We do provide information to our affiliate, The Ontario Cycling Association (link to OCA) for membership and insurance purposes. You won’t receive any unwanted marketing material (spam) from us. Yes, our website will promote the cycling literature and club merchandise we write and sell, but you won’t find any other pitches clogging your inbox.

Weekly ride information emails are sent to all members. If you no longer wish to receive certain types of ride emails simply unsubscribe from the link found at the bottom of each email.
